Gatwick Terminal Coverage
North Terminal
Serves easyJet (on many routes), British Airways, Wizz Air, TUI, Jet2, and Condor among others. The North Terminal short-stay drop-off is directly outside the check-in hall. For arrivals, our driver will be waiting in the Gatwick North Terminal arrivals hall with a name board. Allow extra time during peak school-holiday periods as the M23 approach can be congested.
South Terminal
Serves Vueling, Norwegian, easyJet, and a range of charter operators. The South Terminal has its own dedicated drop-off zone and arrivals hall. If you are unsure which terminal your airline uses, confirm at the time of booking and we will ensure your driver is at the correct hall.
North ↔ South transfer: The two terminals are connected by a free monorail (approx. 3 minutes). If your flight changes terminal after booking, simply let us know and we will redirect your driver at no charge.
The Route from Cambridge to Gatwick
From Cambridge, the standard route heads south on the A1(M), continuing onto the M25 clockwise and then south on the M23 to Gatwick. The journey covers approximately 75 miles. In normal traffic this takes around 105–115 minutes; allow 120–130 minutes for M25 peak hours (07:00–09:00 and 16:00–18:30) or when there are incidents on the M25 J7–J9 stretch.
All Prestige chauffeurs use live traffic monitoring (Google Maps + Waze cross-referenced) and will reroute via the A264 or A23 if the M23 is disrupted. For early morning Gatwick departures (flights before 07:00), we recommend a 03:30–04:00 Cambridge pickup to allow for check-in queues and security.
